Development recruiter für Californien gesucht

Us Field Hockey Association is searching for a development recruiter in California.

A field hockey (hockey) grass roots development project is planned by the United States Field Hockey Association for the greater Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in California, U.S.A. The project is segmented in three phases, namely: recruitment, teaching basic hockey skills and coaching and training in advanced skills. The duration of the project is from August 1 to December 31, 2002. The objective is to recruit, teach and train eligible boys under the age of sixteen years, prepare and motivate them to pursue the sport of hockey in highly a competitive environment.

During the first phase of the project, the job requires presenting the sport of hockey in the most attractive format to the targeted age group in local schools and other organizations; encourage and motivate the students to join the local hockey program. The second phase of the project emphasis will be on teaching basic skills followed by the phase three where advanced hockey skills and training is given to the players.

Qualification:
Degree in physical education, communication, marketing or sports management. The ideal candidate must have high-level hockey playing, some coaching experience and a proven flair for communicating to the targeted age group. This high energy demanding position requires local travel, extensive public contact and excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful candidate must re-locate to Ventura County for the duration of the project. The selected candidate will be working under the guidance of the local development committee chair and under the technical guidance of the U.S. National Coach.

Compensation is $2500 per month. Work breakdown structure of the project and comprehensive job description is available upon request.
